Underground is built on a simple principle: your data belongs to you. We collect only what we need to run bookings, payments, and payouts — and we do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or share it with data brokers. Ever.

This page explains what little we collect, why we collect it, who can see it, and the choices you have.

Account information: your email address, display name, role (fan, creator, or provider), and any profile details you choose to add such as genre, city, bio, and images.

Booking and transaction information: the details needed to create and fulfill bookings, tickets, and service appointments — names, contact info, event dates, and payment records.

Payment information is handled by our payment processor, Stripe. Underground never sees or stores your full card number, CVV, or bank account credentials. We only retain transaction records and payout routing identifiers returned by Stripe.

Communications: messages you send through booking requests and support forms, so we can help resolve disputes and provide customer service.

Limited technical data: basic device and usage information needed to keep the app secure and functioning, such as anonymized session details.

To operate the Services: creating your account, showing your listings, processing bookings and payments, and delivering booking confirmations and verification codes.

To communicate with you: transactional messages about your bookings, payouts, account changes, and important policy updates. You can manage notification preferences in your account settings.

To keep the platform safe: moderating content, enforcing our Terms, preventing fraud, investigating reports, and handling disputes.

To comply with the law: meeting legal, tax, and accounting obligations where they apply.

Underground does not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to anyone — and we do not share it with data brokers. We have no advertising-data business and no intention of starting one.

We do not buy third-party personal data to build profiles about you either. The information we hold comes directly from your use of the Services.

Payment processing: Stripe handles payment and payout details under their own privacy and security practices to process your transactions and creator payouts.

Between Users: booking details (such as your name and contact information) are shared with the other party in a booking so the engagement can be arranged and fulfilled.

Legal and safety: where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our Users and the public.

We never share your data for cross-context advertising or for anyone else's commercial gain.

We keep your information only as long as your account is active, plus the period needed to meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations after you close your account.

When you delete your account, your profile, listings, bookings, and transaction records are securely archived in an access-controlled archive before your account is permanently removed. That archive is restricted to authorized administrators and is used solely for compliance, record-keeping, and resolving disputes — never for marketing or resale.

Once retention obligations are met, archived data is permanently destroyed.

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, strict access controls, and regular review of who can access sensitive data.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever occurs that affects your personal information, we will notify affected Users as required by applicable law.

You can view and update your profile at any time from your account settings, and you can delete your account whenever you choose.

You can control which notifications you receive through your notification preferences, and you can manage your blocklist to limit who can contact you.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us through the Support page and we will respond in line with applicable law.

The Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy as our Services evolve. The most current version will always be posted here with the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by other reasonable means.
